I'm looking for the hello kitty tv that used to be sold at Target. I
didn't get it back then b/c my DH woudln't allow it. haha. he said
that was just going TOO far. well, the other day i was whining about
how i wanted one and he gave in. he said i should get it if i reallly
want it. DAMMIT! so now i relaly wanted and i can't find i anywhere.
i DID check ebay....but i'd rather not pay $30 for shipping. (i know
i know..i'm asking too much). i'd rather pick it up at a store or
something.

does anyone know if any stores are still carrying it? i saw it on
amazon...which would give me free shipping...but the tv is $130.
that's just too much for a 13" pink tv. :) hahaha.

any thoughts?

All of our Targets still carry it, along with a second model. Also in is a
matching dvd player. Very cute!

Maybe try target.com and wait until you can find a free shipping code? Try
www.currentcodes.com ...

Jennifer what was the (MSRP) manufacturers suggested retail price of the
original pink 13" television sold from Target ? I'm a television
technician and I was just wondering. I picked up a 13" set from a thrift
shop for $7.50 !! Had it up and running in about a half hours time after
minor repairs. The manufacture date on the set is October 2003, so it's
like new. I just ordered the remote from SANRIO today at a cost of $20.00
dollars. This is my first piece of Hello Kitty and it looks like it could
become an obsession collecting.

Is this the "HKTV13" (should have that on the back) made by Emerson? I
believe it was $149. They switched to a different manufacturer later though,
if I recall.

Really? That's a bit odd -- since Sanrio doesn't sell or offer parts for
these Hello Kitty TVs. If you call them, they tell you to call a place that
sells parts for Emerson and a dozen other TV manufacturers. And the remote is
around $25.

What number did you call to order a replacement remote from Sanrio?

Jennifer,
What was the original MSRP, manufacturer retail price of the 13" inch pink
television from Target stores?

I'm a TV technician by trade, I came across a 13" Hello KItty TV in a
thrift store this week for $7.50 not working. Had the set repaired, up and
running in about a half hours time. So I ordered the remote control from
SANRIO today for $20.00 dollars.

Looks like collecting Hello KItty could become an obsession! This is my
first piece.
Please E-mail directly to me that MSRP if you know what it was, I'm just
wondering what it sold for originally.
Thanks

Sorry about the double posting, my first time using this forum. Did not see
the posting right away, so I thought the first posting got lost.
